Hi, my name is Marisa. I'm your roving reporter for the day. I had a short day to tell you about because it is early out. That's when the teachers all have meetings, and we get to go home!
In class, we worked on the distributive property. It is fun and makes things easier because you can break big numbers into smaller ones to make it easier to multiply. 66 x 6 can be 60 x 6 = 6x6, which you can practically do in your head!
At recess, we played kickball and our team won. Mrs. Chilson wasn't out there though because she didn't have duty.
I fed and loved the classroom hamsters. Hamtaro and Bruno. The special helper gets to take care of them at the end of each day.
Our day was short but busy.
